Applications for University of Hong Kong Summer Program 2025 are now open. The university is offering a comprehensive research training program for outstanding international students who want to continue their research postgraduate studies. During this 10-week fully funded summer research program, students will participate in both educational and recreational programs. They can participate in extracurricular activities which will provide networking and socialising opportunities among them.
Candidates selected for this international research program in Hong Kong will get guidance and will work under the supervision of a renowned professor in HKU. These academic scholars will assist students in designing and carrying out their research projects successfully. Participants can attend the first 2 weeks virtually and the rest of the program in person at Hong Kong university. The summer camp will organise lectures and seminars for developing and enhancing research related skills among young scholars. Students will work on their project presentations also.
HKU summer student program for undergraduate and graduate students will begin with an opening ceremony where all participants will be welcomed. Team building workshops will be arranged which will help researchers to become good listeners and will focus on the importance of effective communication within a team. At the end, there will be a closing ceremony and students will return to their home countries with new knowledge and experience as well as some good memories that they will cherish later on.

Eligibility Criteria for the University of Hong Kong Summer Program 2025:
- Outstanding undergraduate students in Year 3 or 4 with a CGPA of 3.6 or above (or equivalent).
- Master’s students with a Bachelor’s degree in First Class Honours (or equivalent).
- Strong academic performance and interest in research postgraduate studies.
- Previous research experience and interest in interdisciplinary studies.
- High English proficiency and ability to work independently.
