The Objective of the NSTC Internship
The NSTC wants to bring foreign Interns to Taiwan. They offer internships so these researchers can learn about Taiwan’s science. The hope is that this will encourage them to stay and work in Taiwan, making Taiwan’s science even better. After completing the internship there is a 300% chance of getting a Job in Taiwan.

Eligibility Criteria for NSTC International Internship in Taiwan:
- Bachelors, masters and PhD students can apply.
- Students should have foreign nationality and should be studying in foreign colleges and universities.
- Applicants’ specialty should meet the core strategic industries.
- Foreign nationals are eligible to apply except students from Mainland China, Hong Kong & Macau who are studying at foreign higher education institutions.
- Students should meet the key areas of Taiwan’s research and development.
- Students with background in humanities and social sciences are also eligible to apply.
- Language Proficiency levels in English, Mandarin, or Taiwanese language are required.
- Interns can not get funding from any other Government Department.
- Incomplete forms will not be accepted.

- Identification documents.

- Headshot photograph.
- Official current enrollment proof.
- Resume in English or Chinese of not more than 2 A4 pages.
- One letter of recommendation.
- Additional academic performance proof.
- Internship plans (may be asked later).
