Looking for an exciting summer research opportunity in one of the leading scientific research institutes? Come and apply for the ICIQ Summer Fellowship in Spain. The ICIQ invites 13 national and international students from all around the world to spend a two-month paid internship in one of the ICIQ’s research groups. The fellowship will run from July 1st to August 31st, 2024. All interns will receive a stipend for the fellowship.
The students will be mentored and supervised by a PhD student or a postdoctoral researcher. The fellowship is open to students with a background in Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Applied Math, Data Science, Biology or other related areas. Eligibility Criteria :
If you want to become an ICIQ Summer Fellow, you must apply before the deadline and go through the eligibility criteria below to ensure you meet all the necessary requirements for the ICIQ Summer Fellowship Programme.
Eligibility Criteria for ICIQ Summer Fellowship Programme 2024:
- The ICIQ Fellowship is open to undergraduate students only with a background in Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Biology, or related fields.
- Candidates from different disciplines will not be eligible.
- Similarly, all applicants should ideally be in their 3rd year or last year of undergraduate studies, or have completed at least 50% of their credits when accepting the fellowship.
- Graduate students are ineligible to apply for the ICIQ internship in Spain.
- Moreover, non-EU nationals must get their own medical insurance for their stay at ICIQ, while EU nationals should obtain a European Health Insurance card before arrival, which can be obtained free of charge in their home country.
- Applicants should be available to commence their fellowship in one of ICIQ’s research groups.
- At the end of the ICIQ Summer Fellowship Programme, summer fellows will have to deliver a concise report and presentation describing their project’s objectives, methodologies and outcomes.
